KACE Unified Endpoint Manager enables a unified endpoint management approach by providing the flexibility to manage all of endpoints together in a variety of ways. With KACE solutions it’s not either/or, it’s both/and. You choose to manage your endpoints using the method that works best now and in the future.
- Use cloud based modern management to drop ship pre-enrolled laptops, iOS and Android devices directly to remote workers, easily push profiles like VPN and security settings, and wipe and lock lost and stolen devices.
- Use traditional management for deeper management of servers, Linux, non-computers like printers, projectors and IoT devices, patching, software distribution and software asset compliance.

KACE Unified Endpoint Manager – Traditional Management
- Linux package upgrades. The appliance now allows you to automate the process of installing and managing Linux package upgrades that keeps the Linux OS up to date on your managed Linux RedHat, SUSE, Ubuntu CentOS, and Raspbian devices. These upgrades improve the overall performance of your managed Linux devices and protect them from potential vulnerabilities.
- OVAL security scanning for Linux and Mac. Extends OVAL support beyond existing Microsoft Windows-only using the world’s biggest and best selection of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) data in the world.
- Integration with the new Dell hardware update catalog. Starting in this release, the appliance uses a new version of the Dell hardware catalog.
- KACE Agent system tray additions. More functionality added to the agent icon in the system tray, such as opening links. Your system administrators can specify up to ten links that appear in the new Shortcuts menu item. Standard Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) links are supported, such as HTTP, SSH, and FTP URLs.
- Service Desk ticket category hierarchy. The Administrator Console is improved to allow you to make setting up categories and subcategories for Service Desk more streamlined.

KACE Unified Endpoint Manager – Modern Management
- Per-App VPN configuration. Configure VPN connections on managed iOS, macOS, and Windows 10 devices so that they are established on a per-app basis. This allows you to have more control over data that goes through VPN. Use this feature to, for example, separate the transfer of personal and business data, while ensuring their integrity.
- Microsoft BitLocker for Microsoft Windows 10 devices. Microsoft BitLocker configurations can be created and managed in KACE Cloud MDM Library, and applied to devices, as applicable. A BitLocker configuration can also be applied to one or more devices using a policy.
- Enrolling on-premises domain-joined Windows 10 devices. You can now enroll and manage on-premises, domain-joined Windows 10 devices by creating a Windows provisioning package and deploying it to managed devices.

- Unattend file wizard. Create unattend.xml files via a wizard-based process, which can be used to sysprep an image
- My Recent Sessions. View recent sessions for this user, which includes browser, IP, duration, etc.
